Name and description of the technique:
The laboratory's emission spectroscopy platform consists of a fluorimeter allowing optical emission measurements to be carried out.

Equipement(s) :
Fluorimètre Varian Cary Eclipse
Fluorimètre Varian Cary Eclipse

Type of materials/samples studied:
Samples in solution, powders

Technology(s) used:
Emission of photons. Steady-state optical measurements; 75 kW xenon pulsed source for a range 200-900nm; no sphere of integration; Several integrated monochromators and filters;

Specificities :
Temperature from 25 to 700°C; Routine device, very easy to use, but aging (2008).

Achievable expertise(s):
It is possible to carry out qualitative experiments measuring emission and excitation spectra.
Determination of emission and/or excitation spectra of new materials.

PASTEL platform - Spectrophotometry

Name and description of the technique:
Spectrophotometry is carried out using a spectrophotometer for the direct measurement of emission efficiencies.

Equipment(s):
HAMAMATSU Quantaurus QY, with solution holder and solids holder.
HAMAMATSU Quantaurus QY
Type of materials/samples studied:
Solutions, powders, films

Technology(s) used:
Steady-state optical measurements; 3.3 inch SPECTRARON Hamamatsu integrating sphere; Excitation from 250 (or 375) to 850 nm, measurements from 200 (or 350) to 950 (or 1100) nm.

Specificities :
